The BYU Neuroscience Student Association (Neuroscience club) strives to unite and enrich the Neuroscience students at Brigham Young University through social events, academics, research, and service. The Neuroscience club works with the Neuroscience Center, to enhance the education experiences and career opportunities for its members. In accord with the BYU mission statement, to the club purpose is to "provide a period of intensive learning in a stimulating setting where a commitment to excellence is expected and the full realization of human potential is pursued."
Benefits of joining the Neuroscience Club are:
- Obtain information about opportunities to participate in research and internship opportunities on and off campus through workshops, electronic outlets, or the newspaper.
- Enhance learning through social activities, service projects, and student-to-student mentoring. Through these programs, students have an opportunity to work alongside more experienced students and receive informal mentoring.
- Help prepare students apply to graduate and professional schools by helping them with program selections, application tips, workshops on how to apply to graduate or professional schools, information in the newsletter or other activities.
To join the Neuro club, please go to the Neuroscience Center in S192 ESC. Club fees are $15 per semester, which includes a Neuro Club T-shirt.
