The Samuel Injae Shin Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually for winter semester.

The Samuel Injae Shin fellowship was established to honor the memory of Samuel Shin, who graduated with bachelor and master degrees in Neuroscience from BYU, but died tragically in a climbing accident in 2016. The Samuel Injae Shin Scholarship is a way to continue his legacy of life-long learning in neuroscience.

Undergraduate neuroscience students who have an interest and career goal in neuroscience are eligible.

Applicants will also need to demonstrate financial need.
