This job does not have customized training. Additionally, BYU has a system called Y-Train to help you learn a few crucial things that will help you in this position. We hope this handbook will cover the gaps in your training, but, if you have any remaining questions, people are more than willing to answer your questions.

Y-Trainings that will be helpful for your position include Graduate Studies Training Series, ePAF Training, FERPA Training, Y-Time, Y-Expense and Online Safety. The most important of these are the Graduate Studies Series, FERPA, and ePAF Training.

FERPA Training

Request AIM Access

Request ePAF Training

Each semester you will be working closely to hire Graduate Students as TAs (teaching assistants) and RAs (research assistants), which use the ePAF system. If you have any questions about this process after your training, ask Human Resources/Student Employment.
